The Donald Beggs and The James D. McClaskey Scholarship Awards Program

The Donald Beggs and The James D. McClaskey Scholarship Awards Program is a scholarship program sponsored by Midrex Technologies and administered by Scholarship America. It provides financial awards to dependent children of Midrex employees to support undergraduate study in the United States. Up to four awards are granted each year, with a $5,000 award for each recipient; awards are for one year of undergraduate study and are not renewable, though applicants may reapply in subsequent years if eligible.

Dependent children of a full-time Midrex Technologies, Inc. employee with two or more years of service, who are high school seniors, graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the upcoming academic year.

Applicants must submit required documents (transcript and online recommendation form); notification of recipients occurs in July; all applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
