International Internships in Lithuanian-language Education Institutions 2026–2027 (Call for Host Institutions)

The programme organises international internships for Lithuanian students and graduates (interns) at Lithuanian-language formal and non-formal education schools, Lithuanian communities and Lithuanistics centres abroad for the 2026–2027 academic year. Host institutions apply to receive interns for placements lasting 2–6 months, with internships taking place in the country of the host institution (no remote internships). Interns will receive a living stipend and a travel allowance; host institutions must appoint a practice supervisor and ensure a workload of 20–40 hours per week.

Applications are open to Lithuanian-language formal and non-formal education institutions, Lithuanian communities and Lithuanistics centres abroad that are registered in the Lituanistinio švietimo įstaigų registre. Interns will be Lithuanian students and graduates (students and alumni) selected for placements.

Host institutions must register and submit a single application in the Education Exchanges Support Foundation online system (https://sistema.smpf.lt/), selecting the project "Tarptautinės praktikos lituanistinėse švietimo įstaigose užsienyje" and the invitation for 2026–2027, and complete the electronic form before the deadline.
