The Inlaks Residency at Gasworks

The Inlaks Residency at Gasworks is a fully-funded artist residency in London offered in partnership between Gasworks, The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation and the Charles Wallace India Trust. The residency provides self-led professional development, artistic exchange and experimentation for a contemporary visual art practitioner based in India. The residency includes a private studio, an Open Studio or similar public presentation, and single-room accommodation shared with other residents.

24-hour access to a fully accessible studio at Gasworks; an Open Studio or similar public presentation; single room accommodation within Gasworks Residencies House shared with other artists.

Applicants must be Indian passport holders currently residing in India. Applicants may be contemporary visual art practitioners in all disciplines, with at least moderate spoken English proficiency. Emerging and mid-career artists who have not previously worked in London will be prioritised. Applicants must not have received a prior grant from the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation for any other overseas project.
