Global Biofuel Champion Fellowship (GBCF) 2026

The Global Biofuel Champion Fellowship (GBCF) is a year-long fellowship designed to address real-world biofuel challenges through research engagement. It aims to nurture a pool of young biofuel leaders by supporting students and researchers with financial and knowledge resources to advance their work, with up to 15 fellows selected each year.

Global networking with biofuel experts and policymakers; professional exposure through alliance publications and events; hands-on engagement with real-world biofuel challenges; financial support of up to US $15,000 plus travel costs covered.

Open to master's or PhD students with at least one year remaining in their program and researchers at NGOs/think-tanks with relevant biofuels, bioenergy, environment, or sustainable development expertise; endorsement by an academic or research institution is required.
