Aga Khan Foundation's International Youth Fellowship Program 2026-27

The International Youth Fellowship Program is a fully funded eight-month overseas placement for recent graduates and early-career professionals in Canada, with a three-week pre-departure training in Ottawa. Fellows are placed with partner organizations in Africa or Asia in streams focusing on International Development Management or International Microfinance and Microenterprise. The program aims to develop global citizens by combining training with hands-on field work in international development contexts.

Intensive pre-departure training; eight-month overseas placement in a meaningful role with Aga Khan Development Network partner organizations; travel, accommodation, health insurance, and a modest living stipend.

Open to recent university graduates and young professionals who are citizens or permanent residents of Canada, aged 30 or under on or before the start of the program, and who hold at minimum an undergraduate degree.
