Ecoaction Hackathon For Climate Challenge 2025-2026

The EcoAction Hackathon – Youth for Climate Action is an international online challenge designed to mobilize young European residents to confront pressing environmental issues. Organized by ADEL Slovakia under the Rural Living Lab framework, the event provides a platform for turning innovative ideas into practical climate solutions, with emphasis on participation from rural areas and small communities. Winners receive prize money and mentorship to help develop their concepts into viable projects with real-world impact.

Prize money between €100–300, mentoring from sustainability and tech experts, international visibility, and development of valuable skills in pitching, presentation, collaboration and idea execution.

You must be a young person aged 18–30. Participants from Rural Areas are highly encouraged to participate.

Choose the format that suits the idea, join as an individual or form a team, develop the idea and pitch it online to the jury (1-2 minutes).
