Nozīmīgākie zinātnes sasniegumi Latvijā 2023

The "Most Significant Scientific Achievements in Latvia 2023" is an annual competition organised by the Latvian Academy of Sciences to identify and publicise notable scientific achievements produced in Latvia. Eligible nominators include scientific institutes registered with the Ministry of Education and Science, universities, higher education institutions, university faculties, and full members of the Academy. Submissions consist of a public summary (up to 800 characters) and a non-public part with additional information such as bibliographic and patent records. Received submissions are evaluated and the Academy's Presidium confirms and publishes the list of the year's most significant achievements.

Applications may be submitted by scientific institutes registered in the Ministry of Education and Science's Register of Scientific Institutions, universities, higher education institutions, university faculties, and full members of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.

Submit a public summary (max 800 characters) and a non-public part by e‑mail to the address given on the Academy's site between the opening and the deadline.
