Our Ocean Conference Fellowship 2026

The Earth Journalism Network Our Ocean Conference Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for journalists to attend and report from one of the world’s leading ocean sustainability events. The fellowship supports environmental journalism by enabling reporters to cover global discussions on ocean conservation, climate change, and sustainable development at the Our Ocean Conference 2026 in Kenya.

Full financial support to attend and report from the conference, mentorship and pre-conference training, access to experts and policymakers, opportunities to publish international stories.

Applicants must be professional journalists affiliated with a recognized media outlet, based in or reporting from coastal countries, with experience covering ocean or environmental issues and strong English proficiency. Applicants must submit recent published work and a story proposal.
