NPGH LEADERs Global Health Fellowship

The NPGH LEADERs Global Health Fellowship is a year-long research training programme for doctoral and medical graduates and early-career scientists. Fellows conduct 12 months of full-time research at approved international sites across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with mentorship from U.S. and international experts.

12 months of full-time research training at international sites; mentorship from U.S. and international experts; short-term training at U.S. consortium universities; professional development and global networking.

U.S. Citizens/Permanent Residents and LMIC Citizens/Permanent Residents affiliated with approved partner institutions.

Submit online application with research proposal, budget, NIH biosketch, personal statements, and mentoring plan; provide two letters of recommendation; apply by September 15, 2026.
