Ruforum and Mastercard Foundation Tagdev Scholarships 2026/2027 for African Students

The Ruforum and Mastercard Foundation Tagdev Scholarships 2026/2027 support economically disadvantaged but academically competent African students to complete their studies at Gulu University (Uganda) or Egerton University (Kenya). The program is fully funded and aims to strengthen universities and TVET institutions to contribute to Africa’s growth and development in agriculture and agrifood systems.

Tuition fees, research costs, living expenses (stipend and hostel), laptop, internship, and related training and activities.

Open to African students from Uganda and Kenya who are economically disadvantaged but academically competent, with preferences indicated for female applicants, refugees, and persons with disabilities. Applicants must be eligible for admission to the partner universities.

Applicants must submit an online application via the RUFORUM system (RIMS), then apply for admission to the chosen university; follow prompts to create an account, complete the scholarship call, and attach required documents.
