Bergel Institute Fellowship Program 2026/2027

The Bergel Institute Fellowship offers a year-long, primarily online fellowship for individuals to develop a project or research in one of six focus areas. Fellows receive a stipend and support, including travel and lodging for two required in-person meetings at the Institute's Florida office. The program runs June 2026 to May 2027 and includes monthly virtual meetings and quarterly progress reports.

Stipend of $30,000, travel and lodging for two in-person meetings, mentorship and staff support, opportunity for post-fellowship mentorship.

Open to individuals of all ages and nationalities with no required academic affiliation; applicants may be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs and must fit within one of the six focus areas; travel to the U.S. for two required meetings is necessary.
