The Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Scholarship provides funding for international students to enroll in Japanese universities or graduate schools in 2026. It is Japan’s largest private scholarship program for international students, supporting overseas students planning to enroll in Japanese universities or graduate schools and promoting cultural exchange, international understanding, and academic excellence. Benefits include a monthly stipend, airfare reimbursement, initial accommodation support, and access to Rotary Club activities and alumni networks.

応募資格

International students applying directly from overseas to a Japanese university or graduate school; must have Japanese proficiency at JLPT N4 or higher; undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral study paths are eligible (research students are not).

Online application and submission of required documents; applicants must apply for admission to a Japanese university before the scholarship application; final results announced by March 2026.
