University Research Fellowship

The University Research Fellowship is a long-term, fully funded fellowship for early-career scientists to establish independent research careers in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. It supports postgraduate researchers and provides funding across salary, research expenses, and professional development, with opportunities for PhD student funding and relocation support.

Applicants must have 3 to 8 years of post-PhD research experience, not hold a permanent position, and work in a field covered by the Royal Society’s natural sciences remit.
