Physics Summer School

A week-long residential physics subject within Imperial College London’s Global Summer Schools offering lectures, laboratory work and computer simulations. Participants learn calculus-based physics topics (oscillations), conduct practical experiments, and learn basic Python programming for data analysis. The programme includes group presentations and a week-two Innovation Challenge with students from other subjects.

Practical laboratory experience, instruction in Python programming and scientific libraries (Matplotlib, NumPy, SciPy), experience presenting group results, and a prize awarded to the winning group; participation in the Innovation Challenge with industry-led support.
