A 6-credit field geology course (GLY4790) run by Florida State University's Earth, Ocean & Atmospheric Science program in the Rocky Mountains near Taos, New Mexico. The course provides hands-on field training in stratigraphy, sedimentology, paleontology, structure, mineralogy and petrology, including mapping projects and field excursions. It is intended for upper-level undergraduate and beginning graduate students and emphasises daily field observation, data collection and interpretation. The course is physically demanding and involves strenuous hiking and field work.

応募資格

Upper-level undergraduate and beginning graduate students; students from outside FSU are welcome and encouraged to apply. Students should be in good health and capable of strenuous hiking on rugged terrain while carrying field gear.
