IEEE ICC 2026 Travel Grants

A competitive travel grant programme associated with IEEE ICC 2026 offering several categories of grants to assist students and financially limited individuals to attend the conference. Grants are intended to support participation in the field of communications and networking and are sponsored by IEEE ComSoc, NSF, UKRI and WICE. There are five categories including a Conference Travel Grant (CTG) and four student travel grants, each with different eligibility criteria. Awards provide partial monetary support and are limited in number per category.

Monetary travel grants (reimbursement for CTG) with specified minimums and maximums and an anticipated number of awards per category.

Grants are open to students and individuals who are financially limited; the CTG is open to students and non-students while the other four grants are only open to students. Specific CTG requirements include being a ComSoc member and an ICC 2026 participant and demonstrating inability to obtain sufficient funding from other sources; student grants require Student or Graduate Student membership in IEEE ComSoc and co-authorship of an accepted ICC 2026 paper (for some categories).

Apply through EDAS using the Travel Grants forms (one form for CTG and another for the four student grants); applications require questionnaires, a statement of interest, and recommendation letters submitted via EDAS. If applicable, list accepted ICC 2026 papers by EDAS number.
