The Lunabotics Challenge is a university-level competition in which student teams apply NASA’s systems engineering principles to design, build, and operate a prototype lunar construction robot. Participants develop a robot capable of performing construction operations to support future space exploration objectives and produce project deliverables such as a systems engineering paper, robot data report, proof of life video, and a functional prototype. The event includes presentations and demonstrations at NASA facilities.
