The SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) is an annual academic competition organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation for students in classes 3 to 10 to assess knowledge and skills in Social Studies. The exam is offline and follows a multiple-choice/problem-solving pattern drawn from a defined syllabus. Participants are entered via their schools and compete for international, zonal and school-level awards, including cash prizes, medals and certificates. The programme also provides sample papers and preparatory resources for teachers and students.

International, zonal and school topper awards; top three international rank holders receive cash awards, medals and certificates; scholarships and recognition for schools and teachers at various levels.
応募資格
Students from classes 3 to 10 enrolled in a school recognised by SOF; students may appear only for their own class’s Olympiad. Applications must be submitted via schools.
応募方法
Students must be registered by their school authorities; schools submit registration forms (register via school coordinator links on SOF website).
