The Varsity is the national student rowing regatta organized by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Studenten Roeibond (KNSRB). It is a historic annual rowing competition between Dutch university rowing associations featuring main events such as the Oude Vieren and Dames Vieren. The race is held on the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal near Houten and can be watched from the southern bank or online. The event awards the traditional golden 'blik' and associated recognition.
