Summer School 2026

A residential STEM-focused summer school run by The National Mathematics and Science College offering one-week and two-week programmes in areas such as medicine, practical chemistry lab skills, English for academic success in a STEM context, and coding/cryptography/robotics. Participants join a boarding community, receive teaching from the college's year‑round staff, and take part in practical workshops and projects. Accommodation is offered in single ensuite rooms with catering and pastoral care on site. Multiple programmes run in July 2026 with options to attend more than one programme where age requirements are met.

Residential accommodation in single ensuite rooms, catering, 24/7 pastoral care, access to college facilities (study spaces, gym, social lounges), taught sessions and hands-on practical experience in labs, coding/robotics projects and UCAT/interview preparation depending on programme.

Programme-specific age ranges are given (examples listed include ages 14–16 and 15–17); students may join more than one programme provided they meet the age requirements for each.

Choose programme(s) online and complete the online registration; applicants will be contacted to submit forms via OpenApply. Secure a place by paying in full or a £250 non-refundable deposit; payment due four weeks before the course.
