Summer STEM is an in-person program offering 3- and 6-week college-level engineering and computer science classes, with hands-on projects and teamwork. It is designed for current high school students who have completed 9th, 10th, or 11th grade. Courses mirror material covered by Cooper Union undergraduates in their first or second year and include lab and studio activities. The program takes place on Cooper Union's School of Engineering campus in New York, NY.
特典と支援内容
In-person college-level instruction, hands-on labs and studio projects, opportunities to build prototypes and a design portfolio, and experience with teamwork and faculty/student research projects.
応募資格
Current high school students who have completed 9th, 10th, or 11th grade are eligible; students currently in 8th grade (rising 9th graders) are not eligible.
応募方法
Applications submitted online; applications for Summer STEM 2026 are closed and Summer STEM 2027 applications will launch on December 11, 2026.
