ASTROJOURNEYS Summer School 2026

ASTROJOURNEYS Summer School 2026 is a six-day interdisciplinary training course for educators that focuses on astronomy-related pedagogy and digital, green and socio-emotional competence development. The programme includes presentations, practical sessions and hands-on workshops delivered through an AI-supported platform and offers professional development for creating interdisciplinary learning experiences for primary and secondary curricula. Participants will collaborate with teachers from other countries, develop lesson plans and educational resources, and gain access to an online workspace for preparation and follow-up.

Six-day course totalling 25 hours (9 hours lectures/demonstrations, 16 hours hands-on workshops); professional development in interdisciplinary and competency-based pedagogy; hands-on sessions to develop and share educational resources; access to an online workspace for preparatory and follow-up materials.

The course is aimed at pre-service and in-service teachers working with primary and secondary education curricula.
