Philosophy Olympiad

The Philosophy Olympiad is a competition for school pupils interested in philosophy. Qualification for successive stages up to the international level is done by writing philosophical essays. Semifinals and the national final bring together young people from the region or across Switzerland to exchange and continue their education.

Progression to higher stages including potential international Olympiad participation; participation in semifinals and national final; opportunity to meet and exchange with other young people and receive further philosophical education.

School pupils (Schülerinnen und Schüler) who are interested in philosophy; qualification for next stages is by writing philosophical essays.

Qualification by submitting/writing philosophical essays for selection to semifinals and finals.
