A binational WE-Heraeus seminar bringing together groups from Germany and Hungary working on particles and plasmas in strong fields, with emphasis on laser-matter interactions and warm, dense matter relevant to inertial fusion. The meeting features scientific contributions and invited speakers addressing topics from inertial fusion experiments to fundamental physics questions. It is organised by groups at HZDR, CASUS Görlitz and the HUN‑REN Wigner Research Centre for Physics together with the WE‑Heraeus Foundation. The seminar aims to establish contacts and possible collaborations between participating research groups.
