SACREEE 2026 Capacity-Building Programme for Women Energy Entrepreneurs

The SACREEE Capacity-Building Programme is a six-month online training initiative aimed at empowering women energy entrepreneurs from the SADC region. It focuses on business soft skills and professional development, with mentorship and networking elements, but does not include technical technologies training. The programme targets women-owned energy-related businesses in areas such as solar thermal, energy efficiency, and productive use of energy, and includes facilitation of enterprise financing through matchmaking with potential funders.

Capacity-building through expert instruction, mentorship, networking with potential funders, and exposure to resources that support financing for women-led energy ventures.

Open to individuals who identify as women and have SADC nationality; applicants should be able to commit to online participation roughly 8 hours per month.
