African Development Bank Young Professionals Program 2025

The African Development Bank Young Professionals Program is a three-year, international recruitment program designed to develop a leadership pipeline for the Bank. It targets high-potential young professionals with strong academic and professional credentials and provides rotation across the Bank, capacity development, and mentorship to prepare participants for future roles. Applicants are expected to be highly qualified with several years of relevant experience and to be willing to work in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire or other locations as required by the Bank.

Rotations across Bank complexes, capacity development through a professional learning faculty, mentorship and coaching, and potential graduation into the Bank’s workforce at PL5 level.

Citizenship of a Bank member country; 32 years of age or younger by 30 November 2025; Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with outstanding credentials; at least 3 years’ post-graduate work experience related to the Bank’s business; willingness to work in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, and travel continentally when required.
