MIT Africa Empowering the Teachers Fellowship Programme 2026 for engineering professors

The MIT Africa Empowering the Teachers Fellowship Programme is a semester-long, teaching-focused fellowship for selected engineering professors from African universities. It is offered by the MIT Center for International Studies (CIS) and sponsored by Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), and Partners. Fellows engage with MIT courses, complete a curriculum design course, and develop professional networks and change-agent skills.

Semester-long fellowship at MIT, exposure to MIT courses, curriculum design training, and opportunities to expand professional networks within MIT and partner organisations.

Engineering professors currently teaching at Nigerian universities who have recently completed their Ph.D.
