Coimbra Group Short Stay Scholarship Programme 2025

The programme is financially supported by Coimbra Group member universities, with administrative management by the Coimbra Group Office.

Financial support for a short research stay (approximately 1-3 months) at a Coimbra Group University.

Applicants must be nationals of and current residents in a Sub-Saharan African country, be current staff members of a university or equivalent higher education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa, preferably at doctoral/postdoctoral status, and have an acceptance letter from the tutor/supervisor at the host institution.

Submit through the Coimbra Group Office electronic application process; apply for one university only.
