African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) AI for Science Scholarship Program 2025

The AI for Science Scholarship Program is a funded master's-level pathway at AIMS South Africa, offered in partnership with Google DeepMind. It sits within AIMS South Africa’s Master’s degree in Mathematical Science and focuses on AI applications in the sciences. The program provides a full scholarship including equipment and computation costs for eligible African residents.

To be eligible, you must be a resident of Africa at the time of application and a citizen of any African country, and you must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year degree with an honours year by August 2025 (or December 2025 for southern African applicants).
