ITU Academy Summer school on digital and green transitions

The ITU Academy Summer school on digital and green transitions aims to introduce participants to sustainable digital transformation through topics such as emerging digital technologies, digital farming, and e-waste management. The program is a face-to-face training taking place in Maastricht, Netherlands, and is offered with support from the Global Gateway initiative of the European Union. Participation is free for selected applicants and includes accommodation, meals, and extracurricular activities, with attendees covering their own travel and visa costs.

Accommodation, meals, and extracurricular activities are provided; participants gain exposure to digital and green transition topics and related policy and technical knowledge.

Participants must have a completed BSc or BA (or equivalent) in a related discipline and be working on a topic related to digital transformation or sustainability; fluency in English is required. Government officials and policy makers from developing countries are encouraged to apply, and participants from public, private, or NGO sectors may participate.
