Carnegie Mellon University Africa Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2025

The Carnegie Mellon University Africa Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at CMU-Africa provides full scholarships for graduate study in information technology, electrical and computer engineering, or engineering artificial intelligence. It supports talented, service-oriented African students who face significant social and economic barriers, with holistic support, career preparation, and leadership development throughout the program.

Holistic support including tuition, fees, health insurance, travel and living expenses; career preparation such as internships and career coaching; leadership development activities; opportunities to engage in community service and leadership training.

Master's level graduate students who face the highest social and economic barriers to opportunity and demonstrate academic talent, commitment to giving back, and leadership potential.
