Faculty for the Future Fellowships for Women

The Faculty for the Future program awards fellowships to women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or post-doctoral research in STEM disciplines at leading universities worldwide. Fellowships cover eligible expenses up to specified annual limits and may be renewed through to completion of studies, subject to performance and home-country reintegration plans.

Funding for PhD or post-doctoral studies, renewal grants subject to performance and home-country reintegration plans.

Women from developing and emerging economies pursuing PhD or Post-doctoral research in STEM; must have applied to, been admitted to, or be currently enrolled in a university abroad; must demonstrate leadership and commitment to returning to contribute to home region.

Applications are submitted through the online system during the open period (8 September – 8 November 2024 for the 2025-2026 Fellowships).
