Active Play Challenge 2026

A global competition inviting legally registered organizations to develop innovative solutions that increase opportunities for active play for children and young people worldwide. Projects should be practical and help make active play more accessible, inclusive, and equitable, with aims to transform urban spaces and daily life to promote healthier cities. Successful initiatives may receive funding and expert guidance, with shortlisted finalists gaining learning opportunities and peer collaboration.

Financial support to winners (up to USD 100,000) plus expert technical guidance and learning opportunities for shortlisted finalists.

Legally registered organizations worldwide can apply; youth-led organizations are strongly encouraged.
