NASA STAR-7 Program 2026

The NASA STAR-7 Program is a fully virtual professional development initiative designed to prepare researchers for conducting biological experiments in space. It is a six-month training program that provides exposure to NASA experts, space biology researchers, and commercial spaceflight partners, with delivery entirely online and free of charge. The program runs from September 2026 through February 2027 and supports researchers worldwide who aim to conduct space bioscience experiments.

Direct exposure to NASA experts and experienced researchers, training on designing and implementing space biology experiments, and access to a global professional network in space biosciences.

Eligible applicants are researchers affiliated with universities, research institutions, commercial organizations, NASA Centers, government agencies, or international organizations.
