Junior Fellows Internship Programme – Fall 2025

The United Nations University invites applications for the Fall 2025 cohort of its Junior Fellows Internship Programme in Tokyo. The six-month, full-time internship provides graduate-level students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in policy research, administrative planning, outreach, and event coordination within a UN-affiliated academic setting. Interns work on responsibilities across several areas and receive a monthly stipend if not funded from other sources.

Hands-on experience in UN-related policy work, opportunities for networking and professional development, access to UNU resources, and a monthly stipend for eligible interns.

Open to current or recent postgraduate students (Master’s or PhD level), under 32 years of age, with strong English proficiency; fewer than 5 years of related work experience.
