Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education provides a full undergraduate scholarship for students pursuing STEM research, covering tuition, fees, books, and living costs. It is awarded to outstanding U.S. undergraduates who demonstrate strong potential for research careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program includes a substantial financial award and ongoing support during the funded period.

Undergraduate students (sophomore or junior) pursuing a degree at an accredited 2- or 4-year institution, intending to pursue a research career in natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering; U.S. citizen or national, or a permanent resident.
