The ASEAN-Australia Centre’s Emerging Leaders Program

The ASEAN-Australia Centre’s Emerging Leaders Program is a funded leadership and capacity-building initiative for early-to-mid-career professionals from ASEAN member states, Timor-Leste and Australia. It runs over three months with virtual sessions and a one-week component in Australia, aiming to develop leadership, networking and strategic thinking skills and to build cross-cultural connections. The program is fully funded and includes opportunities to engage with external bodies and develop a return-to-work plan.

Participants engage in virtual sessions and a one-week in-person component in Australia, with networking opportunities, engagement with industry experts and development of a return-to-work plan.

Applicants must be early-to-mid-career professionals from ASEAN countries, Timor-Leste or Australia, with supervisor endorsement and English proficiency.
