Hurford Youth Fellows Programme

The Hurford Youth Fellows Programme is a fully funded fellowship for young democracy activists to spend three months working and learning at the NED Democracy Resource Center in Washington, D.C. Fellows organize online discussions, conduct research, and lead presentations and briefings on democracy-related themes, while benefiting from a stipend, health insurance, and travel support.

Monthly subsistence allowance, health insurance, round-trip travel to Washington, D.C., fully equipped office with internet access, access to libraries and research resources, project assistance and networking opportunities.

Applicants must be 30 years old or younger, show clear interest in democratic activism and democracy advancement, and proficiency in English; applicants affiliated with civil society organizations are especially encouraged to apply. The program is open to candidates from all countries and requires full-time commitment at the NED office in Washington, D.C.
