Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia and Latin America

The Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia and Latin America was a fully funded outbound mobility programme managed by Education New Zealand, supporting New Zealand citizens and permanent residents to study and undertake internships in Asia and Latin America. The programme began in 2013 and was wound down following Budget 2025, with the final intake completed in 2025 and remaining support provided to current recipients until mid-2026. Applications for new cohorts are not planned.

Open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and over.
