Emergency Scholarship Assistance

The Emergency Scholarship Assistance is a fund administered by the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University to provide one-time financial support to enrolled degree students facing a financial crisis. Awards cover the cost of one course and are applied to billable tuition and fees. Awards are funded by an anonymous foundation gift matched by the Dean’s Excellence Fund and have a maximum value of USD 2,500.

Awards up to USD 2,500 applied to billable tuition and fees; covers the cost of one course.

Open to students enrolled in a degree program (bachelors, masters, doctorate) at the College of Professional Studies. Preference is given to students receiving aid from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Complete the Emergency Scholarship Assistance Request Form and provide supporting documentation (e.g., medical/dental bills, insurance statements, receipts, unemployment documentation, termination letter) if requested.
