NENU Silk Road Scholarship 2025 for International Students

The NENU Silk Road Scholarship 2025 is a fully funded scholarship program at Northeast Normal University (China) for international master’s and doctoral students. It provides a full tuition waiver, on-campus housing, a monthly living stipend (3,000 RMB for master’s, 3,500 RMB for PhD), and full health insurance. The program supports study in environmental science, ecology, botany and related fields in China.

Applicants must be citizens of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) participating nations who are not Chinese; must have an outstanding academic record and be in good health; cannot concurrently receive other Chinese government scholarships; age/education requirements: Master’s under 35 with a bachelor’s degree; PhD under 40 with a Master’s degree; language requirements as specified (TOEFL/IELTS or English-medium degree).

Apply through the NENU International Student Service System; undergo online interview if required; ISO reviews qualifications and notifies pre-admission; nominated candidates complete the Chinese Government CSC/IS Information System application.
