CERN African Students Fellowship Programme

The CERN African Students Fellowship Programme places students from eligible African countries at CERN in Geneva for hands-on research experience in particle physics and related technologies. The programme provides financial and logistical support for the duration of the fellowship and access to CERN facilities and supervision. It is aimed at students studying at eligible higher-education levels and supports their practical training and research development.

Tuition coverage; monthly stipend; accommodation support; health coverage; possible living expense and travel cost support; access to CERN facilities and supervision.

Open to students from specified African countries (see eligible_regions) studying at the eligible level.

Prepare academic transcripts, recommendation letters and a personal statement and submit the application via the official CERN students portal before the deadline.
