Chargé de recherche

The GBG is recruiting a Chargé de recherche to manage routine activities of research projects, ensure ethical approvals and research permits, and contribute to the development of research tools, data collection manuals, and field guides. The role involves coordinating recruitment, training and supervision of field staff, overseeing fieldwork and data quality, engaging with communities, and contributing to project reports and dissemination of results.

Must hold a master’s degree in public health, environment and health, health geography, statistics or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of professional experience after the master’s degree; experience in field research and managing research teams; fluency in French and English; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; knowledge of STATA and R is an asset.
