Bertha Challenge Fellowship 2026

The Bertha Challenge Fellowship 2026 is a funded fellowship for a focused year-long project pursued by investigative journalists, filmmakers, lawyers, and activists. Fellows receive income for one year, project and collaboration funds, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with a global cohort and to present their work aimed at addressing questions about government-corporate collusion and democratic accountability.

Income for one year, Project Fund, Connect Fund, peer and mentor support, network development, and a global convening of Fellows.

Applicants may come from any country, but must be proficient in English and able to deliver final work in English.

Submit a completed online application form, a resume in English, a list of referees, a signed MoU from a host organization, and examples of previous work.
