Adejumobi Adegbite Fellowship for Young Journalists

The FIJ Adejumobi Adegbite Fellowship for Young Journalists is a one-year program for emerging Nigerian journalists with an interest in investigative, multimedia, and data-driven reporting. It aims to empower 10 fellows with mentorship, training, and access to tools to develop ethical journalism and data-driven reporting. The fellowship focuses on early-career journalists and includes workshops and mentorship opportunities.

Mobile journalism tools, guidance, and mentorship to produce impactful public interest stories.

Open to emerging Nigerian journalists with less than five years of work experience; residents of Nigeria; journalists who are active professionals (interns, freelancers, part-time or full-time) are eligible.

Email the required materials to programmes@fij.ng on or before May 26, 2025, including two investigative stories, a personal statement, and a CV.
