IJP George Weidenfeld Bursary 2025 for Journalists

The IJP George Weidenfeld Bursary 2025 is a bursary enabling British and German journalists to spend time working in each other’s countries. Bursary holders work in editorial offices of their host country and report for their home media, gaining insight into politics, economy, culture and society. The programme awards a one-time payment to cover travel, food and accommodation, with participants contributing some of their own funds; remuneration for on-site work is not provided.

One-time payment of 3,800 Euros; travel, food and accommodation covered; opportunity to work in a host country and report for home media.

Open to UK journalists aged between 18 and 40 who work for any type of print, radio or TV media. There is no formal language requirement.
