Starke Schule, starke Gesellschaft (Gewaltprävention — Workshops)

Starke Schule, starke Gesellschaft is an initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education offering workshops on school violence and extremism prevention, media and mental-health literacy, conflict resolution and social-emotional skills. The programme provides a catalogue of workshop offers that can be booked for classes and targets pupils and school staff. Workshops typically comprise three to four Unterrichtseinheiten (lesson units) and address current societal, social and psychological challenges.

Free workshops of typically three to four lesson units covering violence- and extremism-prevention, conflict resolution, media competence, mental health and social-emotional skills; 501 offers from 119 providers are available.

Workshops can be booked for school pupils within regular lessons; the programme also offers professional development and further training for pedagogues.
