2027 FIRST Robotics Competition — BIOCORE

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an annual team-based robotics season in which registered teams participate in a game revealed at a season kickoff and receive a Kit of Parts and technical resources. The 2027 season is titled BIOCORE presented by Haas and includes a kickoff celebration and game reveal, local kickoff events where teams may pick up kits, and options for direct shipment. FIRST provides game manuals, a Q&A system, playing field information, team management resources and safety guidance for the season.

Teams receive a Kickoff Kit/Kit of Parts, access to the season kickoff and game reveal, game manuals, technical resources, and team management and safety resources. Teams selecting an in-person kickoff may ship their kit to that kickoff for no fee or choose direct shipment for an additional charge.

Registered teams may select a kickoff event via the FIRST Dashboard; Lead Coach 1 or 2, team administrators or registered mentors over 18 may pick up Kickoff Kits. A designated adult surrogate may pick up a kit if the team provides an authorized surrogate kit pick-up letter signed by Lead Coach 1 or 2 or a team administrator.

Team Lead Coach 1/2 or Team Admin logs in to the FIRST Dashboard, selects the team, accesses 'Team Events & Awards' and uses the 'Kickoff Selection' link to answer questions and submit; kit selections and checkout are completed via the FIRST Storefront.
