National Olympiad in AI (NOAI)

The National Olympiad in AI (NOAI) is a model for national-level artificial intelligence olympiads aimed at basic education students. It is designed to teach foundational AI concepts, develop analytical and critical skills, promote digital literacy, and provide practical training through phased assessments using a digital platform. NOAI also serves to identify outstanding students who may represent their country at the International Olympiad in AI (IOAI) and to foster collaboration between basic education and higher education institutions.

Foundational AI learning and practical training, development of analytical and digital literacy skills, potential selection of outstanding students to represent their country at the IOAI, and access to a digital platform for assessments and comparative data.

Designed for students in basic education (school students) and for countries interested in adopting the NOAI model to select national teams for the IOAI.

Implementation and participation are organised at national level using the NOAI model and a digital platform; national organisers register/adopt the model to run phases and select teams.
