2026 IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists – Call for applicants

The IUPAC–Solvay International Award for Young Chemists recognises and encourages exceptional young researchers at the start of their careers. Up to five prizes are awarded each year, including a cash prize of US$1,000, travel support up to US$1,000 to attend the next IUPAC Congress, and an invitation to present a poster at the Congress and contribute a review article. The awards are sponsored by Solvay and are intended to reflect a fair geographic distribution across the IUPAC network.

Cash prize, travel support to the IUPAC Congress, invitation to present a poster at the Congress, invitation to plenary session, and opportunity to submit a review article to a journal.

You are eligible if you completed your PhD in 2025 (including the defense) and your PhD was granted by an institution in an IUPAC member country or territory, and your research is in the chemical sciences.
